THE SCOTTISH VINTAGE BUS MUSEUM - 2001 SCOTTISH TRACTION ENGINE SOCIETY RALLY

The SCOTTISH TRACTION ENGINE SOCIETY RALLY visited Lathalmond for the second year running, for their two-day rally in May. As before, there was a variety of traction engines - mobile and static - being put through their paces. The photos below show some activity in the area outside the museum workshop. As usual at such events, the museum operated a FREE VINTAGE BUS SERVICE to and from Dunfermline Bus Station and an internal bus service ran round the site as required.

The reasonable weather helped to attract decent crowds who seemed to appreciate the on-site catering that included a burger bar and the museum cafe. The museum Exhibition Hall, workshop and storage sheds were open for viewing and were well attended.

Museum members had the usual full access to the site.
