THE SCOTTISH VINTAGE BUS MUSEUM - 2001 FIFE HISTORIC VEHICLE CLUB RALLY
The FIFE HISTORIC VEHICLE CLUB RALLY was a one-day event held at the museum for the third year, in June. There was a fine selection of vintage, veteran and classic vehicles to be seen as shown in the photos below.

The day before the FHVC Rally saw Dunfermline Civic
Week start as usual with the Civic Week Parade. As seen
on the left, two vehicles from the museum took part, the ex Hong Kong Guy Victory and the ex Cardiff fire engine. The banner
on the side of the bus is an advert for the car rally. Photos: Jim Crichton |
As usual at such events, the museum operated a FREE VINTAGE BUS SERVICE to and from Dunfermline Bus Station and an internal bus service ran round the site as required.
The reasonable weather helped to attract decent crowds who seemed to appreciate the on-site catering that included a burger bar and the museum cafe. The museum Display Hall, workshop and storage sheds were open for viewing and were well attended.
Museum members had the usual full access to the site.
