The Blurb
Are you fed up with the usual static rally every weekend? Then
join the Easter Parade, a new event especially for people who are
not afraid to actually drive their old vehicle - all kinds
of vehicle, as long as they are 35 years old or over (ie
first registered no later than 1965). No time checks, no
difficult navigation, no hastle ..... just a leisurely run from
here to there - read on.
The Easter Parade is being organised by The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum at Lathalmond (the starting point), but is for all types of "vintage" transport - motor cycles, cars, vans, lorries, buses, fire engines, in fact anything which is power driven - the older the better!

The Parade
The first Parade - we hope it will become an annual event -
visited the award-winning Scottish Fisheries Museum at
Anstruther. The route started at Lathalmond (J4, M90) and
meandered along some of the quiet country roads of central and
east Fife to Anstruther where we took advantage of
specially-discounted admission charges. There was ample time for
a natter in the museum's cafe and a walk round the harbour or to
sample the famous Anstruther fish and chips before the return
journey by a different route.

On returning to Lathalmond entrants were invited to board a museum bus for a tour round the site, the exhibition hall, the workshops and other buildings which house approximately 170 buses!
