With such a fantastic venue being made available and forming part of a classic vehicle event, new car motorshow, fun fair, plus plus plus - set in 500 acres of parkland with a natural history museum, deer park, adventure playground and cafeteria (not to forget the beer tent !!) I really want our efforts to succeed. We have so few good rallies nationwide with many others falling by the wayside through ridicuous HSE and insurance pitfalls, I can only put the low entry numbers down to the crazy fuel prices." The service will operate from Easter weekend Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays, till the end of October. Open top Alexander bodied Leyland Atlantean's will be used, but some other unusual vehicles may also be out in service too!. The service runs from Ardrossan ferry terminal to Wemyss Bay at 25 past each hour starting at 08.25, last departure is 17.25 from both ends and journey times are approx 45mins. The service is timed to connect with the Calmac ferries at Ardrossan, Largs and Wemyss Bay ferry ports.
