THE SCOTTISH VINTAGE BUS
MUSEUM – 2011 RUNNING DAY
Once again, the
only photos I have of the Running Day are from Bill Ashcroft. (I can’t take any
myself as I am in the Control Bus all day.) If anyone else took any I would be
glad to receive them - especially ‘out-and-about’ photos (files as big as
possible please).

In memory of ‘Bus Doctor’ Roland Williams, a long-time
associate of the SVBM, who died in March at the young age of 48, the museum has introduced a
Running Day Trophy. The trophy is presented to the bus which, in the personal
view of Roland’s widow Jan, is the most merit-worthy attendee. The inaugural winner was Alex Strachan’s Central SMT Bristol
Lodekka, TVS367. |
