AEC of the month

The last AEC Reliance built with bus bodywork, Duple Dominant bodied JTM 109V is now happily preserved in the livery of its second owner, Metrobus of Orpington. It was the first bus to join their fleet when formed in 1983 and later went on to work for Sussex Bus and London & Country. Metrobus has expanded considerably, and has taken over many former London & Country operations in Surrey and West Sussex in addition to its LT contract work - and is now a part of Go-Ahead group. The picture is taken at Forest Row during the 2013 East Grinstead running day.
